This book is printed on two types of paper; on one of them appears a still with the characters of the film and on the other the background that was used for the scene. By superimposing these two types of paper, we can see what the final scene of the film looks like. All drawings include comments by Katsuhiro Otomo in the margins. Over time, Akira has become a true cult title. It is considered Katsuhiro Otomo's masterpiece and a true reference in the world of comics in general and manga in particular.
