Studio Ghibli Complete Works Collection: Revised & Expanded Edition

Revised and expanded edition of the book ‘Studio Ghibli Complete Works’ (original Japanese version), which reviews and analyses the 27 films that have been produced at Studio Ghibli from 1984 to the present day (2024), including the film, Kimitachi wa Dō Ikiru ka (君たちはどう生きるか The Boy and the Heron (2023), winner of the Oscar and Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Film.

This book explains the creative process involved in developing each of the films of this famous animation studio.

It is published in colour and includes many illustrations from each of the films, as well as the original promotional posters. At the beginning of the book is an extensive interview with Toshio Suzuki, one of the founders of Studio Ghibli.

It also presents the latest information about Ghibli Park, which has opened five new areas, as well as the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka.

The texts in this book are written entirely in Japanese without furigana. Suitable reading for students of level N2 and above or Studio Ghibli fans.
