Osamu Tezuka: Complete Cover Art Collection (Expanded and Revised Edition)

Osamu Tezuka: Complete Cover Art Collection - Expanded Edition (手塚治虫表紙絵集 増補改訂版) is the expanded, revised edition of the collection of cover art illustrated by Osamu Tezuka.

It gathers exclusively the cover art of the «god of manga», Osamu Tezuka. The original 2016 edition collected some 1,800 pieces: the roughly 1,200 volumes whose covers he drew himself, plus magazine-supplement covers, picture books, book jackets and record sleeves.

This expanded, revised edition adds covers of old editions that were later altered, some of the volumes published after his death, original cover artwork and newly discovered advertising material. Arranged in six chapters spanning his whole career, it also works as a guide to his immense output: a glance is enough to sense just how many titles he brought into the world. An essential piece for fans and collectors.

Original Japanese version, without furigana.
