Now and Then - Hiroshi Nagai

Now and Then - Hiroshi Nagai is a collection of the work of Hiroshi Nagai, the iconic illustrator of Japanese city pop.

It collects the work of Hiroshi Nagai, the illustrator who defined the visual aesthetic of Japanese city pop: clear blue skies, swimming pools, palm trees and resorts bathed in an eternal-summer light. His imagery —popularised by record covers such as Eiichi Ohtaki's famous «A Long Vacation»— has become an icon rediscovered by new generations.

«Now and Then» gathers that idealised, nostalgic world in a carefully produced Fukkan.com edition. A volume well suited to admirers of city pop and the vaporwave aesthetic, and to illustration collectors.

Original Japanese version, without furigana.
