Japanese to Give Off a Good Impression is a book aimed at pre-intermediate (N4) level students who want to improve their communication in Japanese and learn new colloquial and formal expressions.

In total, this book is divided into 4 units with the following contents:

- Unit 1: Includes expressions for talking about yourself and making sure that others have understood what you have wanted to communicate.

- Unit 2: Includes expressions for starting and ending conversations with the people around you. The aim of this unit is to make the speaker sound as natural as possible when speaking.

- Unit 3: Includes expressions and phrases to make sure that a particular piece of information we have asked for or request we have made has been understood by our interlocutor.

- Unit 4: Includes expressions to use in an emergency, for example, if we feel an earthquake.

The 4 units of this book have the same structure: a given situation is presented with dialogue and the sentences are analyzed so that the student understands the nuances. English translations are included for each situation. Once each of the expressions has been explained, practice exercises are included. All the solutions to the exercises are included at the end of the book.

As this is a book aimed at pre-intermediate level students, all kanji include furigana.
