88 Basic Patterns for Japanese Conversation is a book to learn how grammatical patterns work in order to form expressions in Japanese. This book is mainly targeted to Intermediate level students (JLPT 4 or 3)  who are seeking to learn how small nuances can change the meaning of an entire expression in Japanese. 

The book contains 88 patterns divided in 2 different parts: 

- The first part contains the most common patterns to form expressions in Japanese.

- The second part contains 8 different basic patterns, each of them classified depending if they should be used with verbs, adjectives or nouns

Each page of the book contains an expression or word written in Japanese and English. Right below, there is a brief definition of each expression. All sentences come with their translation into English. 

The book includes audio files that can be downloaded from the publisher's website, in which all the expressions and examples are read aloud, helping to improve and perfect listening comprehension.
