This bilingual Japanese-English book features over 400 colour images from the collection of YUMOTO Koichi, one of Japan's greatest collectors of Yokai art.
The Yokai artworks shown are from the Edo period (1603 - 1868). The works are not only paintings, but also woodblock prints, ceramics, kimonos, children's toys such as board games, nishikie, obis, netsuke and much more.
Most of the works have a description in Japanese and English which allows to learn about them.
