Casa BRUTUS Extra Issue: Super Mario Bros. and Design is the English edition of the feature Casa BRUTUS devoted to the design of Super Mario Bros. in its December 2025 issue.

The issue starts from the game's 40th anniversary. Released on 13 September 1985, it sold around 40 million copies and carried the series past 450 million. The magazine looks at it through design: what decisions lay behind a game that fitted into 40 KB of ROM. At its centre is a long interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo's Representative Director and Executive Fellow and the creator of Mario. Published by Magazine House.
