Casa BRUTUS by NIGO - Human Made (English Edition)

Casa BRUTUS By NIGO (English Version) brings together in English everything Casa BRUTUS has published on NIGO between 2000 and 2026.

The volume covers twenty-six years of reporting, from the Jean Prouvé article in the December 2000 issue to the January 2026 utsuwa feature and the new HUMAN MADE office. Along the way come his atelier, vintage furniture, denim, his house, NOT A HOTEL and his collection of vessels: the evolution of his spaces and of what he collects, told in order.

It is published to coincide with NIGO: From Japan with Love, his first large-scale retrospective outside Japan, at the Design Museum in London from 1 May to 4 October. The exhibition gathers more than 700 items, among them a recreation of his childhood room in Maebashi (Gunma), the facade of NOWHERE, the Harajuku shop that opened in 1993, and DROPHAUS, his most recent space in the manner of a tea room.
