POPEYE 2026 - October Issue 954: This Is London (POPEYE(ポパイ) 2026年 10月号 [THIS IS LONDON ぼくたちが気になるロンドンのこと。]) is the October 2026 issue of the Japanese magazine POPEYE, published by Magazine House and devoted to London.

The issue opens by admitting the obvious: with high prices and a weak yen, travelling abroad hardly seems a good idea. But the stories coming in from friends in London finally convinced the editors that what you find on your phone is not enough, and that you have to go and see, hear and touch it. There is also a story from inside the magazine, told by a senior member of the editorial team: the very first issue of POPEYE could have been devoted to London rather than California.

The content is split between the fashion section "On My Way, London!" and "NOW HERE LONDON", a tour of the city in 36 entries: a shop that only opens on Saturdays, a skatepark set up in an old public bathhouse, a shirtmaker in the Piccadilly Arcade, galleries full of young people and a sandwich place, alongside Arsenal, cricket, the pub, charity shops, a chess club, the flower market, the Thames, the English breakfast, antique markets, workwear, youth culture and Margaret Howell.
