Little Pim is a series for babies and children of up to 5 years of age.
The images show babies and children interacting with objects or carrying out daily tasks while at the same time you will be listening to the names of the objects and actions in Japanese.
Through repetition and revision at the end of each video, the children are going to learn words and basic sentences in Japanese.
Thanks to the English subtitles, parents will be able to understand what's happening in the images even though they don't speak Japanese.
The character presenting the videos and many of the actions in them is Little Pim, a cute panda that children easily get very fond of.
The series was produced by Paul Pimsleur's daughter, creator of the world-famous “Pimsleur Language Learning System”, which is why it is called “Little Pim”.
Little Pim is based on the registered "Entertainment Immersion Method™, which combines animation and real children, in order to teach words and simple phrases by doing daily tasks.
See here to find out more about this method.
