Dragon, hi o haku no wa yamete! (Illustrated tale in Japanese)

Dragon, hi o haku no wa yamete! (ドラゴン、火をはくのはやめて!) is a story aimed at Japanese children and is also suitable reading material for N4 or N3 level students. All the texts in this book are written in hiragana and the few kanji include their reading in furigana.

This story takes place in a very cold country, where there was a pond in which lived a dragon that could grant a wish. One day, the king of the country goes to the dragon and asks it to spit fire to make the cold country warm. So, the dragon starts to spit fire and it starts to get hot in this country, however, the dragon does not seem to want to stop and the heat is getting hotter and hotter.

This book is published in hardcover and includes color illustrations.
