Wonderful bento from the prestigious Japanese brand Hakoya. The lunchbox has two compartments to keep the food. The total capacity is 500 ml. (250 for each compartment).
This bento has a very suggestive tile: Cherry blossom dream (夢さくら). This name refers to the cover, coated with a weave stamp of cherry blossom. Interestingly, the pattern varies from one bento to the other by the position of the weave cut. Furthermore, this singular cover’s finish is carried out with the Nurohari (布貼) technique, that consists of coating the weave with a plastic cover.
The tupper can be introduced into the microwave and the washing machine without the covers.
This bento comes along with a bag to transport it with the same stamp. It is on sale separately and the product name is: Hakoya Sakura Bento Bag – Model 33676-4 (Pink cherry blossom)
