Vocabulary book that belong to New Kanzen Master series of level 2 of the JLPT Official exam. The book contains 2200 words of pre-advanced level. 

Each word is written in hiragana and kanji and includes its translation into English. Right beside each word, there are sentences that put them in context with English translations. 

The word of the book are divided by theme: nouns, adjectives (classified depending if they belong to い or な type) verbs or honorific expressions. After 200 words, there is a section called 読んでみよう which includes a text with words in context. There are translations of all texts. 

Through the publisher's website you can get access to the audio files with all words read out loud, which is helpful to practice pronunciation. You can also get access to these audios through the link located on top of this file. 

New Kanzen Master Tango - Vocabulary N2 has been printed using 2 different types of ink: black and red, it includes a red sheet of paper that hides the red ink and consequently, the meaning of each word. Therefore, by using this methodology, students will be able to check if they have learnt all words and meanings.

Here is a self-study book for those who wish to develop their vocabulary skills to pass the N2 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. It can also be used by upper intermediate learners who want to remember how to use abstract words and words in formal expressions.

The 2,200 words needed for the upper intermediate level are arranged by their grammatical function and category (e.g., Economics, Medical Treatment, the Arts, etc.). The book also allows the learner to learn commonly used compound words, derivative words, and expressions related to the words under study

After roughly every 200 words, there is a reading passage allowing the learner to confirm how well he/she has grasped the words studied as well as how the words are actually used in sentences.

The translation of the words, examples sentences and reading passages comes with a red plastic cover sheet for testing/review purposes. The translation is in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
