The Preparatory Course for the JLPTN4, Yomu: Learn Kanji, Vocabulary, Grammar, Reading Comprehension

 

In the first part, students must decide whether or not a given phrase has been built correctly or not. The exercise must be done quickly and intuitively. The answer to each exercise can be found on the right side.

 

In the second part students will practice aspects of Japanese grammar such as adjectives, imperatives etc. They will be required to fill in the blanks of a text choosing from several answers. What's difficult about this part is that students need to know the sentence structure according to Japanese grammar.  There is also some space for reflection and comparison between similar structures such as the difference between sukoshi  shika and sukoshi dake aru. 
 

The third is for the practice of grammar and reading comprehension. The aim of the grammar part is to enhance the student's ability to build sentences in a natural way. The reading comprehension part is to test if the student has understood the logical thought and emotions of the author. 

 

The fourth and last part is a vocabulary summary of verbs and their use, as well as of the kanjis required for level 4 of the JLPT.
