Nihongo Alive: Listen & Learn from Real-life Conversations is a book for beginners or intermediate-level students (N4 or N3) who wish to practice listening comprehension. This book is divided into 8 different units, each focused on a specific topic and vocabulary, for example: going on a trip, visiting an onsen, or going to see the cherry blossoms. Each unit includes different types of exercises to practice: fill the gaps, answer comprehension questions or even try to guess what the talker will say. At the end of each unit, there is a review of all contents and vocabulary. 

The answer key, a list of vocabulary, and the transcriptions of all audios are attached at the end of the book. 

The audio files can be downloaded through the app OTO Navi, available through a QR code located on the first pages of the book and also on The Japan Times website.
