Mao Vol.30 (MAO 30) is the thirtieth volume of Rumiko Takahashi's supernatural mystery manga, with Daigo pulling the strings from the shadows.
What is Daigo after with all his manoeuvring? The volume casts doubt on whether it was chance that drew Yurako out and left Nanoka covered in the moss. Set on helping Yurako, who has no intention of forgiving Daigo, Hakubi throws himself at him. And underneath it all lies the question of whether every step was part of Daigo's plan to take the Otori house.
Recommended level: Intermediate (JLPT N3–N2). As a Shōnen Sunday title, every kanji carries furigana; the vocabulary mixes Taishō-era terms with supernatural subject matter.
