Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian - Manga - Vol.10

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Vol.10 (時々ボソッとロシア語でデレる隣のアーリャさん 10) is the tenth volume of the school romantic comedy manga by SunSunSun and Saho Tenamachi, published by Kodansha in the Shonen Magazine Comics collection.

Alya, who sits next to Masachika Kuze in class, keeps whispering affectionate phrases to him in Russian, convinced he cannot understand them. She does not know that Masachika understands Russian like a native speaker. In this volume, Yuki tries to hypnotise Alya as a joke and the hypnosis works: Alya becomes more and more uninhibited, approaches Masachika without holding back and ends up telling him how she really feels. Hearing her, Masachika finds himself even more drawn to her.

Recommended level: Intermediate (JLPT N3–N2). Everyday school dialogue and colloquial romantic expressions, with a few Russian phrases mixed in.

Original Japanese edition, with furigana.
