Tenki no Ko (Weathering With You) Japanese novel written by Makoto Shinkai

Tenki no Ko (天気の子) or Weathering with You which is its title in the west, is a novel based in the film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. The novel has been written by Shinkai himself and it was released on the previous day that the film came out: July 18th of 2019. Makoto Shinkai is well-known for having directed the film Your Name (君の名は) which he also wrote a novel. 

Tenki no Ko is the story of Hodaka Morishima, a freshman who moves to Tokyo. In this city, he will meet Hina Amano a young girl with the ability of manipulate the weather. 

The novel does not contain furiganas.
