Naze? Doushite? "Let's talk about science" is a series of reading books for elementary school children in Japan. It is also suitable for students of Japanese who wish to read authentic texts in Japanese.

This book deals with 45 questions about science such as "How many bones does the human body have?" or "Why do the stars shine?". It also includes short biographies of great scientists such as Galileo or the Wright brothers.

Since this book is for children, it only uses high-quality design and content.

The answers are written in a simple yet funny way and using accurate content – their main purpose is for the children to understand them.

Illustrations included: some are entertaining and others are to graphically explain the answers to the questions.

In Japan this book is for children in their third year of elementary school, i.e. children aged 8-9.
