Naze? Doushite? "Questions about science" is a series of reading books for elementary school children in Japan. It is also suitable for students of Japanese who wish to read authentic texts in Japanese.

This book deals with 47 questions about science such as "Where does the universe come from?", "Why can we hear sounds?" or "Who is the biologist Rachel Carson and what did she do?"

Since this book is for children, it only uses high-quality design and content.

The answers are written in a simple yet funny way and using accurate content – their main purpose is for the children to understand them.

Illustrations included: some are entertaining and others are to graphically explain the answers to the questions.

In Japan this book is for children in their sixth year of elementary school, i.e. children aged 11-12.
