Koto no Ha no Niwa (The Garden of Words) Japanese novel written by Makoto Shinkai

Koto no Ha no Niwa (言の葉の庭) The garden of words, is the novel based in the film written and directed by Makoto Shinkai in 2013. This writer and filmmaker has won international recognition thanks to his films (which are also novels) Tenki no Ko (天気の子) and Your Name (君の名は). 

The Garden of of Words tells the story of Takao Akizuki, a 15 year old shoe maker, and Yukari Yukino, a 27 year old woman whose lives are totally different, but they see each other every rainy mornings in the same place. 

The novel does not contain furigana.
