Second edition of Naze? Doushite? "Curious questions", a series of reading books for elementary school children in Japan. It is also suitable for students of Japanese who wish to read authentic texts in Japanese.

This book includes 40 questions about life, the human body, sports etc. For example: Why do dogs lick people? Why do we snore? Why do doughnuts have a hole? Since this book is for children, it only uses high-quality design and content. Illustrations included: some are entertaining and others are to graphically explain the answers to the questions. This first volume is almost entirely written in Hiragana and katakana and the few kanjis that it contains include furigana. 

In Japan this book is for children in their first year of elementary school, i.e. children aged 6-7.

It can be used by students of Japanese with an A2-B1 level.
