Kokuhaku - Confessions (Japanese novel written by Kanae Minato)

Kokuhaku - Confessions (告白) is a thriller written by Kanae Minato and published in 2008. In Japan this book was a huge best-seller and it was adapted into a film in 2010, directed by Tetsuya Nakashima. 

Kokuhaku - Confessions is the story of a teacher named Yuko Moriguchi who, the last day of class, tells her students that she will no longer work at the school. Some days before, her daughter was found death in the pool of the school, it was apparently an accident, however, Yuko discovers that she was murdered by two boys of her class. That very last day, she will inform them that she has already begun her revenge against them.
