D-Design Travel Tokyo - Japanese / English bilingual magazine

D-Design Travel is a Japanese/English bilingual book focused in a specific city or region in Japan. This one in particular is focused in Tokyo. 

The main goal of the books from D-Design Travel series is to show travelers unique places, with local products and experiences that can be only found in these cities or regions. For this reason, the team behind each book has spent 2 months living in each place in order to discover its hidden places and obtain a first hand experience. One of the main principles of D-Design Travel is to show travelers experiences that communicate a certain feature of each place, so they can discover places that do not appear in the common travel guides. 

The texts of the book are written in Japanese with its translation into English. Texts written in Japanese do not contain furigana, hence they are a suitable reading for N3 or above students. 

Each book includes lots of pictures that have been taken by D-Design Travel team and they have not been edited, so readers can actually see places exactly like they are.

About D&Department Project 

D&Department Project is the name of the company that produces D-Design Travel books. It was founded in year 2000 by designer Kenmei Nagaoka and its main principle is "Long-Lasting Design". This project seeks to show and examine local products and experiences of each city and region of Japan.
