Kotori - Novel by Yoko Ogawa

Japanese edition of Kotori (ことり) a novel by Yoko Ogawa published in 2012.

This work tells the story of a man everyone knows as The Lord of the Birds. The protagonist is in charge of taking care of the birds at a children's school and lives with his brother, with whom he has a curious relationship. As time goes by, the two brothers move away from life in society and create their own way of life, which in some way, has a certain relationship with that of the birds at the school.
