Whisper of the Heart - Tokuma anime E hon - Illustrated book of the film

Illustrated book of the film Whispers of the Heart (耳をすませば) written by Hayao Miyazaki and directed by Yoshifumi Kondo in 1995. This book includes a great variety of illustrations and through texts the complete movie is narrated. All texts are written in Japanese only.

Whispers of the Heart tells the story of Shizuku Tsukishima, a 14-year-old girl who lives with her parents and older sister in Tokyo. Shizuku's great hobby is reading and writing, so she always goes to the library to borrow different books. One day, on her way to the library, Shizuku discovers an antique store with a strange cat figure. As a result of this discovery, Shizuku will start an investigation together with her friend Shiro Nishi, who happens to be the grandson of the antique store owner.
