One Piece Novel: Zoro (ONE PIECE novel ZORO) is the novel telling the past of Roronoa Zoro, from Eiichiro Oda's One Piece universe.

It collects in book form the story of Zoro's past, «ONE PIECE novel ZORO», hugely popular in ONE PIECE magazine, with newly written episodes added. It tells the life of the Straw Hats' first crewmate, Roronoa Zoro, from leaving Shimotsuki Village until he meets Luffy. To keep the promise he made to Kuina —to become the world's greatest swordsman— his long journey begins.

Recommended level: Upper-intermediate to advanced (JLPT N2–N1). It is a prose novel, without furigana, with the narrative and vocabulary typical of a novel.
