First volume of Nihongo Daijobu! a series targeted to beginners who are seeking to learn how to communicate in Japanese. The beginners level contains 2 volumes with 24 units in which students will learn communication in different situations such as: daily life, work, family, a supermarket etc.

Since the main goal of the series is to boost communication skills, this method contains lots of exercises in which students should talk about their feelings and hear and repeat conversations. In addition, all texts are written in hiragana, katakana and romanized. This first book does not contain kanji since students should learn first how to read in hiragana and katakana.

This first volume includes 2 supplementary books: one to learn hiragana and katakana and another one with importa aspects of the language such as the hours, days of the week, days of the month etc.

Book 1 is aimed at enabling learners to gain reasonable fluency for everyday situations and a firm command of basic grammar (nominal, adjectival and verbal sentences).
