Compass Japanese 1 - Resource Book (COMPASS JAPANESE [1] RESOURCE BOOK : コンパス日本語 [1]) is the resource book that accompanies the workbook of the first level of the Compass Japanese course, by TeamCompass and YoAzama.

Compass Japanese is a content-based Japanese course built on the framework of global competence: through cultural and social themes, the student practises how to think about, summarise and present ideas on Japan, on their own country and on themselves. The course consists of a workbook, which works as the main textbook, and this resource book, which supplements it. Published by Kurosio Shuppan.

Recommended level: Beginner (equivalent to N5 and N4). The six units cover vocabulary of daily life, school and future plans, with short texts and furigana over the kanji.
