This textbook is for students who are learning Japanese in Japanese institutions such as universities. The basic level has two volumes. The main goal of these collection is to improve communicative skills of the students so that they can express themselves. The first volume is divided in 12 lessons, in each of them, there are explanations of a certain grammatical point and then it is applied in exercises. Grammar explanations are written in English. 

The elementary level has 2 volumes 

These learning resources include a main textbook with a CD an an appendix including a vocabulary list, important grammar points, the audio scripts and the answer key.
